This is a fantastic opportunity for a business development or sales manager to find their next challenge. Group Se7en Events has grown through a recession, and been highly successful through passive enquiries with no real external business development focus. As part of Group Se7ens aggressive growth strategy, we are looking for an experienced business development manager to join the team and take charge of external business development.

You will work closely with the Directors, and will be responsible heading up the companies external sales by finding and winning new business. You will have had experience and be expected to make calls from the company’s databases, find new leads and networking to develop relations. You will have a proven track record in attending face to face meetings, generating business from scratch and building lasting relationships. You will have the drive to take responsibility for expanding your own client base and managing all areas of the sales process, from initial call’s, meeting clients, taking briefs and winning pitches.

This is an ideal move for an existing events manager with a strong client relationship and production background wanting to move into a hands on events company. The role requires someone who is able to think creatively, work proactively and understand all areas of events from venues, structures, design and production through to meeting clients, writing proposals and producing and managing budgets.
